SPPPG Celebrates 12th Anniversary

Toronto, Jan 19:  The Sts.Peter and Paul Prayer Group (SPPPG) in Mississauga held its 12th Annual Day celebrations on Sunday, 18th January 2015. They commenced at 1.30pm with a Thanksgiving Holy Mass, celebrated by Fr.Charles, an associate pastor of Sts. Peter and Paul church. The angelic choir conducted by Olympio Fernandes, consisting of SPPPG members, added solemnity to the occasion.

After the Mass, at 3.00pm, a fellowship program was arranged at renowned Payal Banquet Hall to celebrate the Annual Day. The servant leader Olympio Fernandes delivered a welcome address to the big gathering.

This was followed by a "Talents for Jesus" program by children and adult members of the prayer group. It was awesome to see the God-given skills and talents of SPPPG members.

The anniversary celebrations ended with a sumptuous and delicious dinner. Address of gratitude proposed by Percy Gomes to Fr.Charles, Hazel D’Souza and members various ministries. He also proposed a vote of thanks to all who contributed to the success of the prayer group during the past twelve years.

Hats off to Venetia D'Souza for organizing fun-filled games. The whole show was ably compered by Ferdy D'Souza.
